The Building Leadership Simulation Centre (BLSC) is a revolutionary, purpose built training facility designed to help you get the most out of your team.


We recognise that building projects are becoming more complex and that innovative training like that at the BLSC is vital to achieve success. We also understand that split second decisions that happen on your sites can be the difference between your project being a success or failure.

At the BLSC, a 15-metre wide parabolic screen and 12 site sheds transport participants into a virtual construction site.

The only difference is that unlike a real site, mistakes at the BLSC won’t lead to cost blowouts, time delays, injuries or project defects. It is a risk-free environment where your team can learn and acquire new leadership, communication and problem-solving skills that can then be used on your sites to boost your company’s bottom line.

Courses are delivered utilising a unique combination of classroom style learning, feedback workshops and the simulated building site. Learning is reinforced and enhanced in our simulation sessions with a team of highly trained specialist actors playing roles such as OHS inspectors and difficult clients.

Participants confront the challenges of a real work site and are given the opportunity to negotiate, solve problems, communicate and provide direction to site personnel, management and subcontractors.

Each simulation is monitored by a team of trained observers and followed by a facilitated debriefing session. Here, participants are able to exchange their experiences and individual feedback is provided by the observers.

Participants discover that there are many ways to approach each interaction or challenge and how their actions influence onsite outcomes. They can practice, refine and ultimately implement new methods to help you attain your business objectives.
